The concept of celebrating the fruits of our labors was one that began early.
The first Wenatchee harvest fruits were displayed in a state exhibit at the Pan American Exposition in Buffalo, New York in 1901.
The State of Washington was again represented at the St. Louis World's Fair in 1904 and again in 1907 at the Lewis and Clarke Fair in Portland, each time with the Wenatchee Valley collecting many of the prizes.
