At Syracuse University basketball practice on Sunday, Jim Boeheim struck a familiar pose.

He hunched his shoulder blades up to his ears and stretched his arms parallel with the floor as his palms opened up to the heavens. But instead of that oh-so-familiar squint and leer that typically accompanies the pose, a smile replaced Boeheim's look of bewilderment.
