Defence Minister Prince Sultan says in a interview with the state-controlled newspaper Okaz: "We will not accept in our country even a single soldier who will attack Muslims or Arabs". He says it is "nonsense" to suggest that US forces would operate from within the kingdom and that the situation today is different from the one in 1990-1991, when Saudi Arabia was a launching pad for the US-led military coalition that ended Iraq's occupation of Kuwait.
