"The Sopranos" is giving the Emmy Awards another chance to make things right.

Not everyone who runs afoul of the mob is so lucky.

HBO's Mafia drama has been the best show on TV in each of its three seasons. But it received cursory consideration from the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences in its first year, and last year saw it lose out to "The West Wing," itself a rookie show, in its record one-season roll of nine Emmy Awards.

Now they're back for a rematch, following what most everyone ...
