Celino Cruz drilled in two free throws off Rysal Castro in the final 1.9 seconds to lift Welcoat Paints past Shark Energy Drink, 62-60, yesterday to capture the first PBL Open invitational crown at the Makati Coliseum.
Cruz' feat came after Rolly Basilides scored on a jumper in the final 54.7 seconds that evened the count at 60, 54.7 seconds remaining.
