Tony Maiden of Rufus has been waiting nearly 20 years to perform "Ain't Nobody," the funk group's Grammy Award-winning 1983 hit.
Rufus broke up in the early '80s after lead singer Chaka Khan left to pursue a solo career. Until this summer's reunion tour, Rufus never got a chance to play the song in concert.
"We never played `Ain't Nobody' as a band," Maiden said this week in a phone interview from his hotel room in New Haven, Conn.
