Toy Manufacturers of America, Inc. (TMA[R]), the trade association of the U.S. toy industry emphasizes the importance of safe play by providing a toll-free hotline and Web site for consumers and the media, dedicated to providing the widest range of up-to-date information regarding toy safety and, new this year, the hottest toys based on U.S. sales figures.

TMA funded and launched the year-round hotline (877-4TOY-SAFETY) in 1999 to assist U.S. consumers with questions and concerns about toy safety, and to make comprehensive and accurate information available.
