Who are we?

For more than 81 years, Easter Seals, a nationwide, nonprofit organization established to help children and adults with disabilities live more independent lives, has been putting hope within reach for millions of people with disabilities by helping them develop the skills they need to live with dignity, equality and independence. Founded in 1919 by businessman Edgar Allen, Easter Seals was one of the first organizations established solely to help people with disabilities.
