25 Years Ago A runaway calf caused a head-on collision yesterday when a driver swerved to avoid hitting the animal on a busy Midland road. The man behind the wheel of a Ford Fiesta had to be treated for cuts and bruising after turning into an on coming Granada. Vets had to be called out to catch the 18-month-old cow which had escaped from a farm in Great Wyrley, Staffordshire.
