Just weeks after the revolutionary concept of a worldwide open membership boating club was introduced, the Rising Tide Yacht Club (RTYC) has already attracted enough applicants to rival in number even the most historic yacht clubs around the globe. Of course, that doesn't take too big a number when you consider that, for an alarmingly high percentage of these clubs, most boaters need not apply.
