Microsoft Corp. yesterday postponed the launch of its upcoming flight simulator game - Flight Simulator 2002 - because of concerns over how the game would be perceived after last week's terrorist attacks on the East Coast.

Retailers had expected to receive the popular game next month. But Microsoft spokesman Matt Pilla said it would be delayed.

"Everything that has happened is so tragic, out of consideration to everyone who is involved, we just felt this is not a good time to release the next version," Pilla said.
