A gas phase manufacturing process for aliphatic polyketone polymers, which Shell Chemicals markets under the trade name Carilon Polymers, has been developed by Shell and Montell Polyolefins. Shell reports that the two companies have successfully demonstrated the technology, and have also started up a pilot plant using it.
