BOXING legends Ernie Shavers and Alan Levine have joined forces.
And they're hoping to land a knockout blow to plans to shut a world famous Liverpool boxing club.
The Red Triangle club, in Everton Road, which has trained champions Colin Dunne, Shea Neary and Nel Tarleton, has been open for more than 80 years and currently trains 40 young men, aged eight to 18.
