IN NOVEMBER, Norfolk will be one of 14 U.S. cities to host the renowned Ballet Nacional de Cuba. Others include New York, Chicago and Washington.

The company will bring a full-length production of ``Coppelia'' to Chrysler Hall on Nov. 17 and 18 as a benefit for next spring's annual Virginia Arts Festival.

During the April 18-May 12 festival, music, dance, art and theater events will converge on Hampton Roads.

Festival director Robert Cross said the Ballet Nacional de Cuba presents dance on the level of Russia's Kirov or Bolshoi. He worked ...
