NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 4, 2001

L-3 Communications (NYSE:LLL) today announced that its Electrodynamics, Inc. subsidiary has been selected by The Boeing Company (NYSE:BA) to partner with them as part of the T-45 Training System (T45TS) team to upgrade the T-45's airborne data recorder (ADR) as part of a Department of Defense Commercial Operations and Support Savings Initiative (COSSI) award.
