Aug. 28--KETTERING, Ohio--Atlanta Bread Co., a bakery-cafe similar to Panera Bread, will open its first Dayton area franchise in Governor's Place.

Governor's Place, an office park at the corner of South Dixie Highway and West Dorothy Lane, is on a parcel bought by the city of Kettering after private developers failed to transform the dead Hills and Dales Shopping Center.
