WASHINGTON -- The World Bank's Board has approved a US$45 million Poverty Reduction Support Credit for Burkina Faso. The interest-free credit will support the implementation of the country's Poverty Reduction Strategy Paper as discussed by the Bank's Board in June 2000.

The Poverty Reduction Support Credit (PRSC) will help finance Burkina Faso's public expenditure program ...
