SANTA ANA, Calif. _ Ernie Delfin didn't think twice before moving from Los Angeles to Orange County in 1977.
Never mind the fact that he was the only Filipino-American in his Fountain Valley neighborhood, or that he was miles away from traditional Filipino enclaves in neighboring Los Angeles cities like Carson and Long Beach. The move made sense after his wife's company relocated to Irvine, and since he already worked in Los Alamitos as an accountant.
