No coup threatens Vladimir Putin, especially not anything like August 1991. However, we thought it might be interesting to extrapolate the events of that time to the present, and imagine how today' s politicians would react to such a situation. First of all, "our" coup is not against Putin. Any sensible participant in the coup would support the President. Whatever the case, any hypothetical coup - an "economic" coup, connected with a clash of opinion...
