ECAP's car forecast:

What are the prospects, near-term, for freight-car manufacturers? In a word, the prospects are "constructive."

That's the conclusion reached by Economic Consulting & Planning, Inc., after an analysis of available rail-industry data coupled with ECAP's own extensive assessment of economic trends which are likely to affect rail traffic in the 1989-90 period.
