Raising Goldfish Is A New Hobby for the Very Wealthy in Thailand.

Aug. 1--Japanese goldfish are a rich man's luxury -- and with prices as high as 200,000 baht for a single fish, the hobby could even be considered eccentric in the extreme.
The 20-million-baht Thai Suwan Inter Farm at Praditmanootham Road in Bangkok is raising tens of thousands of imported goldfish priced from 1,000 baht to 200,000 baht.
Narat Sukthinthai, 28, founder and managing director of the farm said he sold up to 1,500 goldfish a month.
