Jul. 30--CHAMPAIGN, Ill.--More than 20 years after it was sold to Indianapolis-based Herff Jones, Collegiate Cap & Gown in Champaign has a new name: Herff Jones Cap & Gown Division.
Herff Jones began phasing out the time-honored Collegiate name last fall.
An exterior remodeling at the plant at 1000 N. Market St. presented an opportunity to put the new name on the building, said Tom Tanton, Herff Jones vice president and general manager of the Cap & Gown ...
