In a report published in Rossiyskaya Gazeta (July 10), the Russian Energy Minister, Mr. Igor Yusufov's, praised the country's fuel and energy suppliers in exceeding their economic targets for the first six months of this year. In particular, the oil extraction sector did exceptionally well extracting 167.7 million tonnes of condensed oil and gas. This exceeds the industry's target by 4.1 million tonnes, and also betters last year's levels by 10.6 million tonnes, a 7% increase.
