FORT WORTH, Texas _ Several Dallas area veterans object to the design of a special license plate that resembles an upended Viet Cong flag.

The Lone Star Proud plate, which raises money for Texas Court Appointed Special Advocates, has a gold star over red and blue vertical bands.

The Viet Cong flag has a gold star over red and blue horizontal bands.
