Introduction

Biscayne National Park (BNP) is located in southeastern Florida just south of Miami (Fig. 1). It has a variety of subtropical marine habitats, including the most northerly coral reefs of the continental United States (Hoffmeister, 1974; Jaap, 1984). Since 1976, recreational creel surveys of anglers were conducted for BNP and surrounding waters.
