WASHINGTON, D.C.-The cherry blossoms have come and gone, and the bloom in Jim Wright's checks seems to be fading as fast. The House ethics committee has decided that there is enough evidence to investigate the House Speaker on 69 violations of "the code of official conduct or other House rules." The committee decision is the equivalent of an indictment, and hearings will begin soon.
