ICONIUM, Mo. _ Late in the camp session, some of the members of Boy Scout Troop 150 were becoming cranky and listless.

I wasn't surprised. I don't think they were getting much sleep.

At night, they had more interesting things to do.

Some crept into tents and painted felt-pen sideburns on sleeping faces. Other hoisted skivvies up the flagpole or squirted aerosol cheese into other boys' ears.

In the morning, some campers awoke to find them...
