PHOENIX--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 27, 2001
Swift Transportation Co. Inc. (Nasdaq: SWFT) Wednesday announced the completion of its public offering of 1,200,000 shares of its common stock at $16.00 per share.
The offering generated net proceeds to Swift of approximately $18.24 million and was underwritten by Credit Suisse First Boston and Morgan & Keegan Company Inc. Swift has granted the underwriters an option to purchase an additional 120,000 shares to cover over-allotments.
