According to "Arbil Bahra" (June 15), the Turkish authorities have imposed new travel restrictions at the Khabur boarder crossing with Iraq. The new restrictions make it impossible for traders, Turkish citizens and taxi drivers to enter the Kurdistan region without visas. These visas are not only expensive but are also tedious to get as they are only issued from the Iraqi embassy in Ankara.
