Jun. 24--Matteson resident Lynn Armstrong knows a bargain when she sees one. To stretch her budget when she is throwing a birthday party or a baby shower, she heads to a local dollar store. There she stocks up on things such as invitations, party decorations and wrapping paper, and occasionally picks up a few items for her home such as votive candles and silk flowers.
