Jun. 12--Health Midwest, the Kansas City area's largest health system, said Monday that it was eliminating six vice president positions to cut costs and streamline management.

Cutting the six positions cost five persons their jobs. One vice president, Kevin McGrath at Baptist Medical Center, took on additional duties under another title.
