Anne LeDuc hadn't been in Minnesota before Monday, but she felt right at home when she opened the tall wooden doors of the 1865 LeDuc House in Hastings.

Her -great-grandparents William and Mary LeDuc built the 15-room Gothic Revival mansion during the Civil War.

The house, now owned by the Minnesota Historical Society (MHS), has been vacant for 25 years, and the society, having recently decided that it is unable to restore it, is looking for a buyer.
