Jun. 7--One of New York's most popular tourist attractions -- the world-famous Circle Line cruise around Manhattan -- may be taken on board by the Weehawken-based ferry operation founded by Arthur E. Imperatore Sr.

Imperatore said his company, N.Y. Waterway, is negotiating to buy the 55-year-old Circle Line and a related company, World Yacht Inc., which offers dinner cruises.
