ROCKY MOUNT, N.C., Aug 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Peoples Bancorporation (NASDAQ: PBNC), Rocky Mount, North Carolina, and Watauga Savings, announced today that they have entered into an agreement whereby Watauga would be converted from a mutual to a stock chartered financial institution and simultaneously become a wholly owned subsidiary of Peoples Bancorporation.
