Tips for selling rack and shelving

In the last few years many of industrial distributors' rack and shelving customers have become keenly aware of the real cost of maintaining and storing inventory. And this changed perspective on inventory control is presenting rack and shelving distributors with new sales opportunities.

According to the Charlotte, NC-headquartered Rack Manufacturers Institute, for example, sales of storage rack systems increased about 112% between 1976 and 1986. And sales are expected to continue this pace through the next decade.
