Reliance Arm to Lay 4000 km Optical Fiber Network in Uttar Pradesh.(UP Networks)(Brief Article)

UP Networks, a fully-owned subsidiary of the Reliance Industries, will lay a 4000 route km optical fiber network in Uttar Pradesh, investing INR 40 billion in the first phase.

The state government granted right-of-way to RIL for this purpose on October 5, 2000.

According to the optical fiber policy of the state, private parties will have to give five percent equity to the state for a joint venture.

In the first phase, Noida, Greater Nioda, Lucknow, and Kanpur will be connected with infra-city cable and alignment will be along with the national highway from Ghaziabad ...
