WASHINGTON -- Organized labor in the United States is planning a comeback after decades of dormancy, pouring significant resources over the next three years into attracting new members. Although newly organized workers typically enjoy a 10 percent to 15 percent wage increase over their pre-union salaries, private economists do not see the labor movement's initiative igniting wage inflation.
