WASHINGTON -- A Florida firm that had nearly $13 million worth of eye laser equipment seized by government agents last year has entered a court agreement to stop selling unapproved machines to operate on nearsighted Americans.
The consent decree signed by Photon Data Inc. on Monday also allows the Food and Drug Administration to destroy 10 excimer lasers seized from the Winter Park, Fla., company.
