Triremes, the warships of the ancient Greeks, will be the topic of archaeologist Ford Weiskittel's lecture at UNCG at 8 p.m. March 31.

Weiskittel is director of Trireme Trust USA of Geneva, N.Y. His lecture, "The Design, Reconstruction and Sea Trials of an Ancient Greek Warship," will be in room 103 of Anne and Benjamin Cone Building. It is sponsored by UNCG's Department of Classical Studies and the Archaeological Institute of America.
