BEIJING, April 24 Asia Pulse - A host of ongoing anti-dumping cases from Europe and North America have been overshadowing Chinese steelworks since the start of the new millennium this year.

Ten steelworks in the United States filed an anti-dumping suit against carbon HR coil imports from China in November 2000. The preliminary verdict made at the end of the year imposed a 35.19-40.12 per cent interim anti-dumping tariffs on Chinese products.

Recently, the US government announced anti-dumping tariffs ranging from 21-60 per cent on rebar imports from China.
