The closest mall is an hours drive away, and the biggest excitement is when the rodeo rolls into town. Concert and theater fans have to make a two-plus-hour trek to one of the "Big Cities" (Oklahoma City to the northeast and Dallas to the southeast). It's hot in the summer and cool in the winter.
