PROJECT OVERVIEW:
Oman is an independent oil producer with output capacity of around 900,000 barrels a day. And, the country's gas reserves were estimated at some 28 trillion cubic feet at the end of the year 1999.
However, the local PETROLEUM DEVELOPMENT OMAN recently discovered what is claimed to be the largest gas find in the past 6 years. The deposit in question is located in an area 50 kms south of the town of Adam in al-Dakhillyah region.
