STUDY SHOWS BEE POLLINATION MORE IMPORTANT

FOR AGRICULTURE THAN PREVIOUSLY THOUGHT

WASHINGTON, Feb. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- A congressionally requested, Cornell University study for the National Honey Board says that farmers in recent years have greatly increased use of honeybees for pollination thereby benefiting agriculture by many billions of dollars.

The study's findings conclude that increased honeybee pollination has been a major benefit both to the price and supply of food for the United States.
