MELLON FOUNDATION GRANT TO STUDY LITERACY
PITTSBURGH, Feb. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- The University of Pittsburgh's Learning Research and Development Center (LRDC) has received a $1.6 million grant from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation to study the development of elementary school children's reasoning capabilities as related to the attainment of literacy.
The three-year grant is part of the Mellon Foundation's support of new areas of research on literacy.
