THE LIPOSOME COMPANY AND LIPOSOME TECHNOLOGY TO MERGE
PRINCETON, N.J., Feb. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- The Liposome Company, Inc. (NASDAQ: LIPO) and Liposome Technology, Inc. (NASDAQ: LTIZ) today announced that they have entered into a definitive to merge the two companies into a single company named Liposome Companies, Inc.
The combined company will have $35 million in cash, and a patent portfolio of 29 issued U.S. patents and 88 U.S. patent applications, placing it among the top tier of biotechnology companies.
