CHARLOTTESVILLE -- Virginia Rinehart White, 67, died on Oct. 5, 1996, at Martha Jefferson Hospital after a lengthy battle with cancer.
She was born in Albemarle County on Feb. 26, 1929, to William Alonzo Rinehart and Lois Smith Rinehart, who predeceased her. A sister, Susan Rinehart Coughlin, also preceded her in death.
She was married to William Henry White III on March 22, 1951, and blessed with five children and eight grandchildren: Stephen Noss White and his wife, Ellen, and their two sons, Stephen Bryan and Taylor Rinehart; Virginia White Dyer; William ...
