IT WAS always impossible to interview Sir Harry Secombe.

Not because he was temperamental, or would throw tantrums.. it was because he kept making Goon noises and blowing raspberries.

The Super Goon loved nothing more than to convulse his interviewers with a selection of funny voices, mirth-making comments, and his trademark raspberries.

I knew him for nearly 30 years as a showbusiness contact, interviewed him many times, and always came away with tears of laughter streaming down my face.
