TEXACO AND AGIP ACQUIRE NEW BLOCK IN YUGOSLAV SECTOR OF ADRIATIC SEA

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y., Feb. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Texaco Inc. announced today that its wholly owned subsidiary, Texaco Netherlands International Inc. (TNII), and the Italian state company, Agip S.p.A. of the E.N.I. Group, have amended an existing joint venture agreement with INA- Naftaplin, the Croatian National Oil Company, to acquire a new area in the Yugoslav sector of the Adriatic Sea.
