Discoveries on the Greek island of Crete are set to reveal more secrets about ancient Minoan civilisation - out of which grew the legend of the man-bull Minotaur.
Archaeologists are excited by finds which suggest the island could have had a second palace, similar to that at Knossos, which attracts thousands of tourists to its expansive remains near the capital Irakleio.
The evidence is being unearthed at Palaikastro, on the eastern edge of Crete, with the help of experts from the British School of Archaeology in Athens, one of the sponsors of the dig.
