Remember the anxiety over potential Y2K problems? In 1498, Albrecht Durer capitalized on similar fears of a mid-millennium apocalypse: He issued The Apocalypse, the first of his "large books" illustrated with sheets from 14 woodcuts. That volume, along with more than 100 other books and prints, make up the exhibit "Book Arts in the Age of Durer" on display at the Baltimore Museum of Art.
